Alexander Dombrowsky proudly serves on the Board of Directors for Lee's Place. Lee's Place is a private, nonprofit, grief and loss counseling center in Tallahassee, Florida, specializing in children, families and adults. It is the mission of Lee's Place to provide counseling and educational services to those who are adjusting to a loss, whether the loss is a death, a divorce or abandonment. Founded in 2000 by Dr. Brenda Rabalais, Lee's Place is named in memory of her son, Lee, who died at the age of 14. In her healing process, Dr. Rabalais created a center where people can receive therapeutic services in a warm, nurturing environment regardless of their ability to pay. The staff at Lee's Place provides education to schools, community groups and professional organizations on a variety of loss issues and coping strategies.
